Job Title: Operations Manager
Location: Australia and New Zealand
This Position Reports To: Country lead - Australia and New Zealand
Our company is the largest background screening company in Australia and forms part of a publicly-listed corporation providing over 9 million employment background screenings annually. We lead the industry in delivering screening solutions to global and local corporations, worldwide. Utilising integrated, Web-based tools for ordering and delivery, providing industry-specific screening solutions, we streamline the hiring process for employers.
We currently have a vacancy for an Operations Manager who will be accountable for delivering client-focused, streamlined and process-driven operations. Reporting to the Country lead and based in Sydney, the key duties of this role include:
- Manage the consistent quality, timeliness and efficiencies of Australia and New Zealand operations in all locations that support our clients - in line with agreed SLA's.
- Establish, maintain and update Standard Operating Procedures.
- Knowledge of relevant government and regulatory bodies.
- Ensure that operational training is carried out in a timely manner and recorded for audit and reference purposes.
- Liaise with clients regarding their operations and proactively review processes.
- Review, update and deliver SLA's and/or contracts to meet FADV and Client requirements as authorised by the Country lead.
- Manage Client Management teams to ensure production of Weekly/Monthly and Quarterly Turnaround Reports, delivery of all reports within timelines given to external customers and within quality standards
- Maintain confidentiality with regard to all candidate and customer information, as well as other professional and commercial issues
- Budget management, relating in particular to revenue, costs, productivity and people planning
- Conduct performance appraisals in a timely manner for all direct reports
- Be a positive, willing, contributing and adaptable member of the team at all times
To be considered for this opportunity, you must have several years' experience managing in a similar role. You must have a demonstrable record of achievement in the optimisation of these services from a performance, risk and value perspective as well as building and maintaining exceptional internal and external relationships.
Candidates must also be able to demonstrate the following competencies:
